The External Clad system is a zero permeability, absolute vapour barrier for insulation cladding and jacketing applications, designed for insulation protection.
Product description
- The product consists of a laminate of aluminium foils interspersed with alternate tough polyester films which gives high puncture and tear resistance.
- External Clad has a self-adhesive backing and comes in an aesthetically pleasing embossed aluminium finish. Baron offers a service to bond External Clad to pipe insulation sections.
Applications
Insulation cladding system applied to a variety of rigid and semi-rigid insulation products such as the following: polystyrene, polyethylene foam, faced glasswool, faced rockwool, flexible Aerogel, and flexible elastomeric. It’s weather protection ability renders it suitable for external or internal use
